As the Assistant Head Cook (Seasonal) , you will work closely with the Head Cook to oversee kitchen operations and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for campers and staff each day. You will play a key leadership role in maintaining food safety standards, supporting team development, and ensuring food service operations run smoothly and efficiently throughout the camp season. HOW youll create Moments that Matter: You will partner with the Head Cook to coordinate and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for approximately 300 campers and staff each day, ensuring service is timely, portions are appropriate, and all dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural needs are safely accommodated. You will support the supervision and development of the food services team by providing coaching and guidance, while upholding food safety standards through regular inspections and adherence to Manitoba Camping Association guidelines. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and dining environment, contribute to cost-effective food ordering and inventory practices, complete required administrative documentation accurately and on time, and actively promote a safe, collaborative, and positive kitchen culture that enhances the overall camp experience.
