Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize smallmolecule assays in liquidphase formats (competitive, displacement, or binding assays). Develop and integrate aptamerbased and antibodybased detection strategies into liquid and lateral flow assay formats. Synthesize, functionalize, and conjugate gold nanoparticles for use in colorimetric and fluorescent assays. Optimize fluorescent and colorimetric assay performance, including signaltonoise, sensitivity, and dynamic range. Prepare and analyze urine and other complex biological matrices, including mitigation of matrix effects. Maintain thorough laboratory documentation, including experimental records, data analysis, and SOPs. Qualifications Required BSc, MSc, or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in assay development for smallmolecule detection. Experience with gold nanoparticle synthesis, aptamers and bioconjugation chemistry. Handson experience with fluorescent and/or colorimetric biosensors. Proficiency with core laboratory instrumentation, including plate readers and spectrophotometers. Strong problemsolving, organizational, and troubleshooting skills in an R&D environment. Preferred Experience developing or translating assays into lateral flow formats. Experience working with aptamers (modification, conjugation, or assay integration). Why Join Us?
