Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. About The Role We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our growing team! Join the BrokerLink team as a Personal Insurance Advisor, where youll build trusted relationships with clients and tailor coverage solutions to protect what matters most. If youre customerfocused, detailoriented, and passionate about simplifying insurance, wed love to hear from you. PLEASE NOTE: You must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam. This onsite position is available in our Vegreville (AB) office. Your work schedule: 35 hours a week. Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm What Youll Do Here Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receive walkin clients Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes Actively participate in training initiatives Participate in community marketing initiatives Process Account Receivable activities Provide guidance and assistance as requested What You Bring To The Table High School diploma or its equivalent Previous customer service, sales and/or call center experience Preference will be given to candidates who hold an AIC - General License Strong customer focus Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada This role is a new member of our growing team.
