Overview TIG/GTAW Welder - Day Shift - Full Time T I G W E L D E R. EM Characteristics is a leader in production of steel products and seeks dedicated Associates to contribute to our success in a busy manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and steel using TIG (GTAW) processes. Aluminum welding capability is a must. Operate in a busy setting with strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship. Work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Qualifications Minimum 3 years TIG welding experience. Capacity to weld aluminum, stainless steel, and steel; aluminum welding capability required. Canadian Citizens, PRs, or valid Work Authorization holders will be considered. Live in the Greater Toronto Area. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Strong team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision. Supplemental language: English not required. Terms of Employment Shifts: Day Change, Full Time. Wage: $25.00-$30.00 per hour; OT paid. Anticipated Start Date: ASAP. Location: Scarborough (McCowan & Sheppard).
