Carlson Construction Group is seeking a Document Controller to support our dynamic construction teams across a wide range of exciting projects. In this role, youll be instrumental in managing and safeguarding project documentationensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with both company and client standards. Youll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to maintain physical and electronic records, uphold document control protocols, and contribute to the smooth execution of our construction operations. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain company documents, records, and files (physical and electronic) Support project teams by maintaining job-related documentation Code and enter data from electronic records Perform document quality control, including filing, revision updates, distribution, and disposal Track and report document revisions, retrievals, updates, distributions, and removals Design and maintain file structures for easy access and retrieval Maintain master lists of archived files for efficient retrieval Handle time-sensitive and confidential materials Review handover packages for correct documentation and revisions Provide general administrative support to project teams and the company Qualifications & Requirements Experience in administrative roles with a focus on records/document management Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong formatting and word processing skills Construction-related diploma/degree and 5+ years of scheduling experience, or equivalent technical training Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle Familiarity with construction documentation in sectors such as: Ports & Terminals Mining Pulp & Paper (an asset) Oil/Gas/Chemical Refining Piling Skills & Attributes Highly organized with strong attention to detail Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Selfstarter with sound judgment and initiative Strong time management and prioritization skills Resultsdriven and committed to meeting deadlines Team player with excellent interpersonal skills Why Youll Love Working With Us Competitive salary: $60,000 $75,000 per year, plus performance bonus eligibility RRSP contributions based on years of service Annual Wellness Allowance to support your health and wellbeing Flexible work schedule and professional development opportunities Weekly learning sessions and 14 statutory holidays per year Comprehensive benefits and room to grow within a familyowned company that values its people Ready to Make an Impact?
