The Opportunity: Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Gas Bar Operations, the Energy Sales Coordinator Analyst plays a key role in advancing the commercial performance of Red River Coops convenience store network. This position drives revenue growth and retail effectiveness through coordinated product launches, promotion strategy, merchandising optimization, and sales analysis. The role also evaluates competitor activity and market dynamics to uncover opportunities and shape strategies that strengthen Red River Coops competitive position and support sustainable growth. Essential responsibilities of the position include the following: Spend approximately 50% of time in the field supporting convenience store locations through site visits, merchandising execution, promotional setup, and operational coaching. Lead and coordinate new product launches across the network, ensuring instore readiness, pricing alignment, merchandising standards, and postlaunch performance review. Develop, implement, and evaluate monthly and major promotional programs to drive traffic, basket growth, and margin performance. Partner directly with site managers to improve merchandising effectiveness, optimize product placement, and strengthen category performance. Monitor competitor locations within trading areas to assess pricing, assortment, promotional activity, and instore execution; translate observations into actionable strategies to strengthen Red River Coops competitive position. Analyze sales data, promotional results, and key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action. Prepare and deliver structured reporting and performance insights to Energy Division leadership to support datadriven decisions. Provide structured support for highimpact programs including beverage, grabandgo, and fresh offerings to ensure consistent execution and measurable results. About You: To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies: Postsecondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field or an equivalent combination of retail leadership and analytical experience. 35 years of experience in convenience retail, grocery, or multisite retail operations. Demonstrated experience supporting product launches, promotional execution, or category management. Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel and the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics. Experience conducting competitive analysis or working within a fastpaced, competitive retail environment. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and support sitelevel teams. A willingness to travel between locations and spend significant time working instore.
