Job Description Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Accounting Clerk to fill in for a parental leave. The successful candidate will be processing invoices and expense reports in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize. Duties and responsibilities Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Code invoices and enter transactions in accounting program. Process invoices (from vendors and locals) and prepare cheque or Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) payments within short deadlines and assist with other invoices as necessary. Process expense reports and Concur expense reports. Process Diners Card expenses and prepare the corresponding Journal entries. Process retirees dues. Ensure monthly and other reports are submitted on time with accuracy. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Diploma in Accounting. 3-5 years of experience working with ACCPAC, focusing on AP modules in a similar role. Strong time management skills and ability to solve problems. Ability to juggle multitask with accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office, specifically with Excel. Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. French written and oral would be considered an asset. Benefits No weekends.
