We are passionately committed to building community through running by creating events that welcome everyone from Olympians to healthy lifestyle enthusiasts to charity runners. Our Vancouver team proudly delivers the Vancouver Half Marathon, lululemon SeaWheeze, and the Under Armour Eastside 10K, among other exciting projects. We are seeking an Event Operations Intern to join our team for the summer and gain handson experience in the planning and execution of largescale running events. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, organized, and energetic individual who thrives in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment. Key Responsibilities Support event logistics and planning, including equipment management, course setup, and venue layouts. Respond to customer service inquiries. Develop and refine operational documentation. Assist with supplier and sponsor management. Help recruit, organize, and communicate with volunteers. Contribute to prerace and postrace operations (inventory management, warehouse preparation, kit assembly, etc.). Participate in onsite event execution, including volunteer coordination, venue operations, crew management, and more. Provide general administrative and operational support to the team as needed. Qualifications and Skills Passion for live events, sports, and community experiences. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to take initiative and contribute to both office and onsite work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools. A valid drivers license is an asset (but not required). Canadian Citizenship is required to be eligible for the internship program. Details Location: CRS Office in Burnaby with offsite days for events, sitevisits, etc. The team works from home 2 to 3 days per week. Duration: Early May to late August 2025 (exact dates flexible). Hours: Fulltime, with some weekend and earlymorning work around event days. Time in lieu provided for event days. Compensation: Competitive monthly wage (between $3000-3500/month), dependent on experience and funding grant application.
