The Opportunity Shape Something Different - Join a fieldfocused role where you support drilling programs that drive environmental remediation, groundwater management, and infrastructure development across the region. As an Environmental Driller within Applied Solutions, youll operate heavy vehicles, complete drilling and wellinstallation activities, and bring technical plans to life on project sites that directly benefit communities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy handson work outdoors, solving practical challenges, and supporting projects that protect water resources and the environment. Your Impact Operate and maintain drilling equipment used for environmental and geotechnical investigations. Install and develop monitoring and watersupply wells in accordance with provincial regulations and Class 3 welltechnician standards. Drive and safely operate AZ/DZlicensed vehicles to transport drill rigs, materials, and tools to project sites. Support drilling, sampling, coring, casing, and grouting activities with a focus on safety and accuracy. Collect highquality soil and groundwater samples for environmental assessment and remediation programs. Document subsurface conditions, drilling progress, well construction details, and daily field logs in digital formats. Contribute to contaminatedsite projects, groundwater characterization, and infrastructure work requiring reliable field data. Promote a safetyfirst culture through adherence to WSP procedures, tailgate meetings, hazard assessments, and proper PPE use. Collaborate with project managers, hydrogeologists, engineers, and fellow technicians to support project milestones. The Skills That Set You Apart 3+ years of handson drilling, well construction, environmental fieldwork, or related experience. Valid Well Technician Class 3 certification (or eligibility) in the province. Valid AZ or DZ drivers licence (or provincial equivalent) with comfort operating heavy vehicles. Experience with environmental drilling methods, well development, and field sampling programs. Strong ability to work outdoors yearround, travel to remote sites, and adapt to changing project demands. Background in environmental science, geology, drilling operations, or equivalent field experience. Comfortable using tablets/laptops for digital field forms, photos, and documentation.
