Job Description

Position Overview Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist position at Shared Health-Soins Communs, commencing January 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat pediatric neurological disorders, including seizure disorders, strokes, tumors, ataxia, headaches, neuromuscular disorders, metabolic and degenerative diseases, infectious diseases, developmental malformations and developmental delay. Prescribe medications, order laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and consult with other physicians as required (70% clinical duties). Engage in teaching and academic duties as an Assistant Professor (30% of the position). Participate in research and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine with specialization in Pediatrics. Completion of a neonatal neurology fellowship and a Canadian pediatric epilepsy fellowship. Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Experience in pediatric neurology preferred. Compensation and Benefits Mixed compensation model primarily based on feeforservice income, approximately $340,000. Recruitment incentive available for specialty physicians.
