Internal (DCC Employees) and External (General Public) Salary Range $79,067 - $102,788 Employment Status Continuing Security Level Reliability Language Requirement English Essential Closing Date 20/03/2026 Country Canada Position Overview The Coordinator, Construction Services, manages and administers medium-complexity construction, professional services and service contracts during construction to ensure compliance with contract requirements. The incumbent engages in daily discussions and negotiations with contractors, consultants and the Client-Partners about quality of work, interpretation of contract documents, scope changes, progress claim reviews and other issues. The incumbent addresses contract management risks within delegated authority, complies with service line requirements, and integrates activities with site teams and other service lines. Winnipeg is known for its unique winter experiences, flourishing arts scene, colorful festivals, and character neighborhoods, as well as its green spaces and access to outdoor activities. 17 Wing Winnipeg 17 Wing Winnipeg is located at the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Winnipeg. 17 Wing Winnipeg generates, delivers, and sustains air missions in support of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) mandate, and provides support to Lodger Units and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). It provides aircrew training, specialized education, and aircrew environmental skills training. As a support base, 17 Wing Winnipeg provides administrative, operational, and logistical support to more than 113 units at 35 sites and 10 armouries across an extended geographical area. It also supports NORAD fighter operations as a Deployed Operations Base for the CF-18 Hornets as required. 17 Wing Winnipeg proudly supports both 1 and 2 Canadian Air Divisions as lodger units. Requirements for Employment at DCC To begin a career with Defence Construction Canada (DCC), you must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. As a condition of employment with DCC, a minimum reliability security status clearance is required and some roles may require secret security status clearance. DCC is responsible for the Personnel Security Clearance process. Typically to be eligible for a ''Reliability'' clearance, you must have five years of verifiable background information and to be eligible for a ''Secret'' clearance, you must have 10 years of verifiable background information. The process usually involves reference inquiries, verification of qualifications, criminal records checks, and credit checks (as required) and may require fingerprints.
