Position Summary A Deli Stocker properly maintains zones, stocks the area, assists customers, and maintains exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Walmart. What youll do Zone the department. Rotate stock and check for expired products. Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced. Adhere to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sellby dates, and expiration dates. Take orders for Deli Department merchandise; slice and prepare merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken, and provide requested assistance. Assist frontend associates with price checks. Prepare deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilize slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepare chicken with rotisserie oven and deep fryer; fill prepared salads and side dishes for display area and specialist orders from customers as required. Keep the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids. The minimum hourly rate for this position starts at $18.30.
