Community Fundraising Officer - Greater Toronto Area Hybrid Role Salary: $50,000 $65,000 + benefits About this role At Muscular Dystrophy Canada, community is at the heart of everything we do. The relationships we build with volunteers, partners, and supporters are what allow us to create meaningful impact for people living with neuromuscular disorders across Canada. As we continue to grow our presence across Ontario, we are seeking a Community Fundraising Officer to help strengthen and support our Fire Fighter related revenue streams. This role is ideal for someone who loves being out in the community, building genuine connections, and supporting volunteers and partners who are deeply committed to making a difference. In this role, your focus will be on relationship-building and community engagement. You will work closely with Fire Fighters, Fire Departments and Locals, and volunteer leaders to support locally led fundraising activities, foster long-term relationships, and ensure our partners feel connected, valued, and supported in their efforts. Your work will help create positive, meaningful experiences that encourage ongoing involvement and sustained impact. You will spend much of your time connecting with people, attending community events, supporting fundraising activities, and being a consistent, trusted point of contact. Youll also collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, volunteer engagement, marketing, programs, and data to ensure Fire Fighter initiatives are well supported and aligned with our mission and values. Who we are looking for someone who: Has a passion for fundraising and at least two years of fundraising experience Is motivated by meeting or exceeding revenue targets Enjoys building relationships and being part of the community Is energized by connecting with people and supporting volunteer-led initiatives Brings warmth, positivity, and a collaborative approach to their work Communicates clearly and comfortably, whether in person, by phone, or in writing Is organized, dependable, and accountable for their work Is flexible to work some evenings and weekends and able to travel within Ontario Why join Muscular Dystrophy Canada?
