Date: Feb 22, 2026 Location: Altona, MB, CA, R0G 0B0 City : Altona State : Manitoba (CA-MB) Country : Canada (CA) Requisition Number : 44045 A Day in the Life: As a Process Engineer, you will provide handson engineering support to enhance operational efficiency, troubleshoot plant issues, and contribute to capital project design. Using strong engineering principles and living the Bunge Core Values, youll ensure the facility remains safe, competitive, and continuously improving. What Youll Be Doing: - Champion a strong safety culture by modeling safe work habits and ensuring employees and contractors follow safety standards. - Lead and manage the facilitys Process Safety Management (PSM) program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal Bunge requirements. - Drive efficiency initiatives with a strong focus on reducing costs without sacrificing safety. - Partner with facility teams to plan and implement projects aimed at improving Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Environment (PQSE) performance. - Support the prioritization and optimization of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Identify Lean Sigma opportunities and assist with implementation efforts. - Implement and oversee process optimization activities. - Provide technical support on topics such as dry material handling, air flow, heat exchange, power systems, PLCs, steam systems, and liquid handling/storage. - Collaborate with plant leadership to define technical needs, develop CapEx requirements, evaluate project proposals, and support CapEx presentations. - Assist with engineering tasks including drawing reviews, equipment specifications, operational narratives, training, commissioning, and startup activities. - Identify, promote, and help implement best practices across operations; support troubleshooting of operational challenges. - Support vendor assessments, OEM equipment evaluations, and contractor/engineering firm reviews. - Ensure facility projects align with all Federal and State environmental regulations. - Make decisions with strong cost and quality considerations. - Collaborate crossfunctionally with safety, engineering, environmental, commercial, accounting, legal, QA/QC, procurement, and other teams. - Regularly review production data to ensure accuracy and identify continuous improvement opportunities. - Support Regional Continuous Improvement initiatives. Skills & Experience Required - Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, Agricultural, Electrical, or Chemical Engineeringor equivalent experience. - 12 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, and safety. - Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project. - Knowledge of industry design codes and regulations, including NFPA 36, NFPA 61, OSHA, and EPA requirements (preferred). - Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problemsolving skills. - Effective organization and planning abilities. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Collaborative team mindset. - Experience managing projects under $1M, with successful ontime, onbudget, and safetycompliant outcomes. - Able to work with direction and oversight while demonstrating initiative. - Ability to evaluate operational gaps and recommend solutions with support from crossfunctional partners. - Extended Health Care 100% companypaid - Retirement Program After one year: - 3% employer contribution to RPP - Up to 3% employer match to RRSP - Tuition Reimbursement Up to $5,000 per year after one year of service - Time Off: - 09 years: 25 days - 1019 years: 30 days - 20+ years: 35 days Bunge is an equal opportunity employer committed to cultivating a diverse culture.
