Journeyperson HVAC Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Overview: Anticipated Start Date: ASAP. Employer: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Position: Full-Time, Permanent. Staff Accommodation: Yes (subject to availability). Wage Range: TBD hourly. Responsibilities - Responsible for all HVAC related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge - Installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment - Preventative maintenance of equipment pertaining to HVAC - Ensure all work in the HVAC department complies with federal and provincial codes and regulations - Ensure power tools are in good and safe working conditions - Maintain a flexible work schedule based on volume of business - Train and assist the shift maintenance colleagues - Assist other trades as they relate to HVAC maintenance - Communicate effectively and professionally with both guests and colleagues - Adhere to the hotels vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles - Other duties as assigned Perks & Benefits - Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full-time status - Competitive extended benefits package including medical, vision and dental for full-time permanent status - Employee Travel Program - Comprehensive Wellness Platform - Discounts on food & beverage/fitness centre/spa/golf Position Requirements / Qualifications - English fluency; level: Intermediate - High school and/or technical school education required - Provincial Journeypersons certificate for Province of Alberta required - Background in HVAC experience or general knowledge of the trade required - Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Gas Fitting Ticket is an asset - Valid Alberta drivers license required - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities - Highly responsible and reliable - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision - Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Application Details How to Apply: Documents Required Resume #J-18808-Ljbffr
