We are Systematix and we are currently looking for an Intermediate IT Project Manager to support one of our Life Sciences clients based in the Greater Toronto Area. ABOUT THE PROJECT: Our client is a well-established organization in the Life Sciences sector that is currently expanding the use of artificial intelligence across several enterprise platforms and operational processes. To support this initiative, they require an experienced IT Project Manager to backfill a PM who has been seconded to another organization. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of technology initiatives focused largely on AI-enabled platforms and enterprise integrations. Several projects are already in progress and require strong project management discipline to bring them through completion while ensuring alignment with business stakeholders and technical teams. This role requires a well-rounded IT Project Manager who is comfortable working across infrastructure, enterprise applications, and emerging AI capabilities while coordinating multiple internal and vendor teams. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple IT and AI-related initiatives within an enterprise environment Manage project scope, schedules, deliverables, risks, and budgets across several concurrent initiatives Coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery Drive completion of the nearly finalized ServiceNow AI implementation and ensure proper transition to operational teams Manage integration activities related to Oracle environments, including the deployment of OCI document reader capabilities Support implementation of Aquants AI-driven service intelligence solution and associated operational integrations Facilitate project planning sessions, status reporting, and stakeholder communications Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented Ensure strong documentation, governance, and project management best practices across all initiatives Support the organizations broader adoption of AI technologies by coordinating technical, operational, and business stakeholders REQUIREMENTS: 6+ years of experience managing IT projects within enterprise environments Demonstrated experience delivering technology initiatives that involve enterprise platforms, integrations, or emerging AI technologies Strong project management fundamentals including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication Experience managing enterprise software implementations such as ServiceNow, Oracle, or similar platforms Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including technical architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders Experience working with vendor partners and implementation teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills PMP certification or equivalent project management training is considered an asset Must be located in the Greater Toronto Area ABOUT THE ROLE: Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario Work model: Hybrid. Candidates must be GTA-based, though onsite presence is expected only occasionally Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension PAY DISCLOSURE: The expected pay range for this role is as follows (CAD): Intermediate Level: 68 years of experience; $6580/hour Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
