Assistant Director, Conference Services & Catering Banff, AB | Full-time, Permanent $100106k/year Job Summary: Senior leadership role overseeing conference & event operations Manages Conference Service Managers, Coordinators, Concierge Owns large-scale conferences from contract execution Heavy on client management, execution, forecasting, and space optimization Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the conference services team Oversee major events and conferences end-to-end Ensure smooth execution, strong guest experience, and revenue performance Handle forecasting, resumes, BEOs, contracts, and space usage Work closely with Director on budgets, planning, and operations Client relationship management + site inspections Hiring, onboarding, training Run weekly conference meetings when needed Requirements: Prior leadership experience in conference/events/hospitality Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Event systems + Microsoft Office Post-secondary education = nice to have, not critical Perks: Full benefits + pension match (up to 5%) Staff meals Travel & hotel discounts Relocation help + optional housing Discounts on food, spa, fitness, golf
