This role supports the Operations Manager in making sure everything runs smoothly in what is a complex and lively visitor business. What it's like to work here Lyveden is a small property, with a small team of staff and dedicated volunteers all working together to provide great experiences for our visitors. This means that everyone is ready to support where they can to make the place a success. There's a great team spirit here and a lot of passion for the property. Youll need to be someone thats willing to help out with setting up activities and events, prepared to cover Visitor Reception when needed and able to bring people together to help support the visitor programme. As it's primarily an outdoors site, youll need to be up for working in all weathers too! What you'll be doing Youll line manage the Visitor Experience Officer, and the Welcome Team. Supporting both teams in delivering the visitor programme and delivering their targets. Youll be responsible for devising and delivering the visitor programme collaborating with the whole property team on what this looks like. Youll also be responsible for the volunteers associated with these departments. At Lyveden we are part way through a large access project, improving access around the site, youll be involved in delivering this and how the visitor experience and interpretation is delivered as part of this project. You will support the Property Operations Manager on ensuring high standards of visitor experience and presentation are met across the site. You will also support them with the social media and marketing of Lyveden.
