Job Requirements Mandatory Requirements The details below outline what youll need for each specialty, helping you confirm which roles youre currently eligible to pursue: For all positions: - Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) within the specialty you wish to practice in - Completion of a Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification For X-Ray, CT, Angio & IR and Breast Imaging: - Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Radiological Technology program, or recognized equivalent - IV insertion course (preferred) For Breast Imaging: - Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and 2 course from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) - Completion of over 15 hours of continuing education in Mammography within the past 3 years and a commitment to ongoing continuing education that meets CAR and hospital requirements (preferred) - Previous Breast Imaging working experience, demonstrating knowledge in digital radiography (preferred) - Completion of an accredited degree/diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent - Certificate of registration in the specialty of Nuclear Medicine from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) For MRI: - Completion of an accredited degree/diploma in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - Cross sectional anatomy course For Sonographer: - Completion of an accredited Ultrasonography degree/post diploma program - Registered with Sonography Canada with CRGS designation - Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification (preferred) If your experience reflects these requirements and you want to stay connected to upcoming opportunities, apply here so we can have your resume available when new vacancies become available.
