What You Will Do As an EIT, you will play an essential role within our Operations & Engineering department, reporting to a Senior Engineer. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Designing for basic above and below ground facilities; - Recommending system routing; - Leading projects through their project life cycle; - Providing cost estimates and forecasts; and - Assisting in the creation or revisions of the Standard Practice Manual. What You Will Bring Required qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferred disciplines are Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering; - Registered or eligible for registration as an E.I.T with APEGA; - 0 to four (4) years of related experience; - Valid Alberta Drivers License; - An acceptable drivers abstract is also required for this position. Preferred skills and qualifications - Beginner modeling software skills; - Experience with CAD Drafting software; - Proficient in MS Office Suite; - Exceptional organizational skills; - Strong oral and written communication skills; - Ability to collaborate; - Demonstrated problem solving skills; and - Effective team player.
