NetApp VTC offers 2 coop roles: Software Developer and Software Development Engineer in Test. Both roles will exercise and hone your software development skills. Successful coops in either role will ship a customerfacing feature they helped develop or test within the StorageGRID product. About this position: The Software Development Engineer in Test Coop role focuses on automated testing of features and the overall product. Job Requirements Essential Functions May Include Software design and implementation Defect investigation and resolution Test automation and framework development Advanced technology investigations and prototyping Skills We Are Looking For Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C/C++, Go, Ruby, Javascript, or Java Experience with UI test methods, Linux, HTTP/REST, and SQL/NoSQL databases Successful completion of one or more operating system courses or related projects Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team of engineers to meet aggressive goals Familiarity with basic concepts of computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices Education Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2026 or later.
