Key Responsibilities As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide direct support to the Controller while partnering with finance and operational teams to deliver timely and accurate financial insights. Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transaction postings to ensure accurate financial reporting. Develop variance analysis and KPI reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing actionable insights to support business decisions. Ensure all financial transactions adhere to company policies and procedures. Budgeting & Forecasting Collaborate with District and Operations Managers to develop capital requests, budgets, and forecasts for the Region. Support cross-functional teams with division-specific billing and accounts payable requirements. Process Improvement & Project Leadership Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and workflows across multiple finance functions. Lead or support assigned projects, contributing to overall team efficiency and effectiveness. Provide guidance to team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate: Education & Experience Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation required, with 35 years of post-designation experience. Experience in the waste or environmental services industry is an asset. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and Google Workspace. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences. Proven ability to lead teams and support close processes under tight deadlines. Proactive mindset with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
