Role Summary This role focuses on the development and maintenance of high-performance, robust, and scalable distributed systems, specifically within our Cloud Gateway and connected infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing core services and ensuring system reliability. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy distributed systems and applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. Work with eventdriven architectures, leveraging technologies like Kafka and Redis to build efficient and faulttolerant systems. Implement, monitor, and debug applications, ensuring high availability and low latency. Develop, deploy, and maintain solutions on cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor''''s or Master''''s program at an accredited Canadian university. Proficient in either Go (GoLang), Python, or C++ programming. Preferred Qualifications Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field with the intent to return to school following completion of internship. Proficient with Redis for caching, session storage, or distributed data structures. Demonstrated experience with Distributed Systems. Experience with Cloud Platforms. Experience with CI/CD. Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana Labs, or Amazon CloudWatch environments. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Pay Disclosure Canada Hourly Rate For Internships Hourly Rate for Vancouver applicants: $24$27 CAD. The posted salary represents the lowest and highest ranges RV Tech reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position. Any posted salary range pertains only to the estimated starting pay for the role. Actual starting pay is based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidates experience, skill set, qualifications, specific competencies, relevant education, and location.
