The successful candidate would be joining the **Personal Debt Solutions team** in-office and own the following responsibilities:* Assist debtors and creditors, both in person and virtually, as it relates to bankruptcies and proposals* Perform BIA Counselling covering topics including budgeting & credit rebuilding* Review files/documents for review with client to ensure compliance with duties under their insolvency filing* Community outreach, business development and presentations* You demonstrate BDO''''s core values through all aspect of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration* You understand your clients industry, challenges, and opportunities; client describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work* You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients* You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent* You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace* You grow your expertise through learning and professional development.**Your experience and education*** Successful completion of CAIRP Practical course on Insolvency Counseling* Two or more years of relevant work experience in an Insolvency or Credit Counseling or other relevant areas* Great interpersonal skills to deal with team members, debtors, and creditors* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills to respond to different situations* Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment* Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel* Excellent time management and organizational skills* A team player who can also work independently *The expected range of compensation for this role is* *$40,000 to $82,000 annually.*Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among .
