Position Details Job Type: parttime, permanent Vacancy: This posting is not for an existing vacancy (newly created position / expanding headcount) Compensation: $20.00-23.00 per hour plus gratuities AI Disclosure: Your application will be reviewed by our hiring team. We do not use artificial intelligence in the screening or selection of applicants for this position. As a Set Up Supervisor, youll play a key leadership role in bringing our clients visions to life. From weddings to corporate galas, youll ensure every event space reflects the clients vision and meets Carmens Groups high standards of excellence. Youll lead and support your team, oversee setup operations, and contribute to a smooth, organized, and memorable guest experience. Overseeing and participating in the setup of event spaces to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and client specifications Decorating head tables, presentation tables, and event spaces with attention to detail and creativity Organizing and maintaining setup and dcor storage closets, ensuring all items are clean, pristine, and in excellent condition Performing teardown of tables, chairs, and dcor following events, maintaining efficiency and safety Monitoring staff and workspace for health, safety, and performance standards; reporting issues to management as needed Assisting with training and development of team members to build a service-oriented, high-performing team Ensuring all setup operations uphold Carmens Group brand standards in collaboration with the Marketing team Contributing to the overall smooth execution of events by assisting wherever necessary What You''''re Bringing to the Table 2+ years of hospitality or event experience, including setup or banquet service Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a strong asset Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night events as required Positive, solutionsfocused approach to problemsolving and team leadership Understanding of dcor, tablescape setup, and event logistics is an asset We are Carmens Groupa proud Hamiltonborn hospitality company with a mission to create extraordinary memories.
