**Job Title: Production Technician II** **Job Description** The Production Technician II role is an essential intermediate position tasked with handling moderately complex production technical process activities, advanced troubleshooting, and contributing to improvement projects. This role offers a blend of hands-on experience and involvement in improvement initiatives, supporting technical activities under the guidance of the production team. **Responsibilities** Engage in the setup and operation of intermediate-level manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Handle intermediate-level production tasks and issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards and product specifications. Provide support in basic daily and weekly appraisal and rudimentary maintenance of equipment and tools necessary for electronic manufacturing processes. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of electronics processes and assembly, with an ability to interpret technical documentation effectively. Execute new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Tackle complex technical problems independently, proposing feasible solutions and effectively communicating them to appropriate stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and contributing to decision-making. Execute and support the integration of new technologies and systems, providing feedback to enhance efficiency and product performance. Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on existing processes and optimizing production processes. Conduct intermediate-level troubleshooting and problem-solving, providing expert-level technical support to the manufacturing team. Lead projects or sub-projects, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure timely technical support and guidance to junior technicians. **Essential Skills** Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical work environment. Advanced understanding of electronics manufacturing and troubleshooting. Knowledge of IPC standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Rework and soldering experience. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a non-repetitive basis. Ability to distinguish different colors accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Flexible and eager to learn.
