**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machinist to join our team. The role involves installing tooling on numerically controlled equipment to machine parts with precision for our products. You will be required to follow program instructions and diagrams to set up fixtures and tooling, select and load appropriate part programs, and maintain accurate transactions in our ERP system. **Responsibilities** Install tooling on numerically controlled equipment to machine parts to exact tolerances. Follow program instructions and diagrams for setting fixtures and sequence of operations. Select and load appropriate part programs for machine runs. Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system. Make necessary adjustments to equipment and programs. Load and unload parts to and from the machine, monitoring operations to ensure proper machine functioning. Check parts periodically during operations to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices. Assist in maintaining and servicing equipment as directed. Read and interpret blueprints. Train other employees and assist in other departments as required. Initiate action to prevent problems and document quality issues. **Essential Skills** 1-3 years of related experience as a CNC machinist. Ability to work on repetitive tasks. Proficiency in reading blueprints and tooling sheets. Capability to make minor adjustments on programs. Experience with machining, CNC setup, inspection, and CNC machining. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Milling or Turning experience. Open to occasional overtime. The environment is environmentally conscious with 3 paint booths, an enclosed welding shop, and a bright lunch and training room. You will be working directly with a lead, supervisor, and a team of 12-30 machinists. The second shift is smaller with 12 people.
