General Job Description: The Leader Tech is responsible for supporting the Supervisors and Management of TG Minto by following all TG Minto policies and procedures and leading by example at all times. He/ She will work closely with the assigned supervisor and assist with directing employees. Flexible work hours will be necessary. There is a six-month probationary period for this position. Compensation and Benefits - Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $2 premium - Paid overtime after 40/hours per week - Company Performance Bonuses - Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift) - Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums) We offer a very extensive benefit program: - Company Paid time off: Up to 10 Days + 5 Float Days to start, 15 Days + 5 Float Days (1st full year) - Benefits start from Day 1 90% Medical, 80% Dental, Variety of Paramedical Coverage ($500/service) - Uniforms are Provided + Yearly Allowance + Yearly Safety Boot Allowance - Employee Assistance Program provided through Manulife/Homewood - Employee Appreciation Events and Celebrations throughout the year and $Cash Recognition Programs Duties and Responsibilities: Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards. Meet hourly production quotas. Document daily production. Operate all injection machines and assembly stations. Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery. Ability to train FTMs. Understand and follow the Kanban system. Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines. Maintain 5S in all assigned areas. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred or successful completion of an aptitude test You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job.
