We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our clients dynamic engineering team close to London, ON . Pay - $100K - $130K Key Responsibilities Lead electrical engineering design for new and existing construction projects (HVAC coordination, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, life safety, etc.). Develop detailed electrical drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated project delivery. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance with design specifications. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drafters. Review and seal engineering deliverables to ensure quality and compliance. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet project objectives. Prepare cost estimates, project timelines, and feasibility studies. Assist in bid evaluations, vendor selections, and contract reviews. Ensure designs meet sustainability and energy efficiency goals, where applicable. Stay current with local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, CSA) and safety regulations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred). Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng or PE) in good standing. 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering within the construction or consulting industry. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, SKM Power Tools). Strong knowledge of applicable building and electrical codes and standards.
