What its like to be a Northbridge Corporate Underwriting Specialist As a Northbridge Corporate Underwriting Specialist, youll play a key role in shaping and strengthening our national small business portfolio. Youll collaborate with regional teams, corporate process partners, and actuarial and data analytics colleagues to elevate underwriting practices, enhance rating sophistication, and deliver an exceptional small business experience across NBFCs brands. You will monitor emerging trends, assess new business opportunities, provide technical guidance to teams, and support continuous improvement initiativesall while helping to maintain a profitable, competitive book of business. We want your talent If you are great at: Building strong relationships and collaborating across regions and crossfunctional teams Analyzing trends, identifying risks, and spotting opportunities for growth Delivering clear, thoughtful underwriting guidance and training Providing exceptional customer service, problem solving, and clarity on coverage and wordings Coaching and mentoring others to strengthen underwriting capability Navigating change and contributing to continuous improvement Managing competing priorities with sound judgement and attention to detail If you have: 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience in property and casualty insurance Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations Strong customer service background Team-first mentality We really mean it when we say we put you first. The base salary range for this role is $96,000 - $144,000, which reflects the expected base pay not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position.
