Organizational Description: The Access to Therapy Initiative exists to provide mental health services for disadvantaged and/or low-income members of society. We also raise awareness of the financial barriers to mental health services. Volunteer Opportunity Details Description of Duties: Access to Therapy is seeking a volunteer President to serve as a public-facing representative of the organization. This role is best suited to someone who believes strongly in equitable access to mental health care and is comfortable acting as a professional ambassador for our mission. The President will help represent Access to Therapy to donors, supporters, community members, and the public. This may include helping with outreach, building relationships, participating in occasional meetings, and supporting the organization''''s public credibility and visibility. This is a volunteer leadership role within an existing organizational structure. The successful candidate must be collaborative, dependable, mission-driven, and respectful of the organization''''s established direction, policies, and internal leadership.
