As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours. The shifts will range from morning, afternoon and evening and will include all long weekends. Responsibilities - Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening supplies, and landscaping products. - Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care, gardening techniques, and landscaping options. - Maintain the garden center by organizing merchandise, watering plants, and ensuring cleanliness. - Operate cash registers for sales transactions and handle cash accurately. Requirements - Take initiative when needed, working well independently and as part of a team - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Passion and knowledge of working with and caring for plants - Previous retail experience and horticulture knowledge - Friendly and outgoing personality - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Knowledge of gardening practices, plants, and landscaping techniques is a plus. - Ability to sell products confidently while providing excellent service. - A passion for gardening and willingness to learn about new products and trends in the industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
