Locally owned and operated, RROX Aggregates Ltd. is a Park Paving Ltd. affiliate and an industry leading producer of high-quality aggregates for the Edmonton market. Aggregate products are manufactured and transported via rail from aggregate reserves in north-central Alberta to the Edmonton market. RROX Aggregates Ltd. is looking to hire a Lead Hand Wash Plant Operator. We are looking for an individual with strong familiarity with crushers and/or wash plants, screeners, conveyors, loaders and other associated aggregate and/or mobile heavy equipment. This is a fulltime permanent seasonal position with competitive wages. Responsibilities Maintenance of the equipment being operated Controlling conveyors, panel boards, pumps, gauges, and dials to ensure maximum efficiency and consistency of materials being generated Maintain a clean and efficient washing operation and work environment Experienced in a variety of equipment operations for crushing, and mining Ability to work independently Must be willing to work in adverse weather, overtime, out of town, and some weekends throughout the season Create and foster a positive work culture, and set clear expectations of crews for safety and production Must be able to communicate well with coworkers Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills Willing to learn and take direction Follow and adhere to all the Companys safety procedures and policies Benefits Competitive wages/salaries Health & dental benefits Vision benefits Life insurance RRSP matching Opportunities for advancement Pay scale $26 - $35 per hour Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and highpressure environment.
