We support Stores Partners with foundational capabilities for financial event onboarding, balance tracking, payouts, collections, risk reduction, and internal financial reporting. Key job responsibilities Design and implement sophisticated software solutions for financial event tracking, balance management, and payout systems. Develop and optimize distributed systems that operate with exceptional reliability and performance. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate complex business requirements into innovative technical solutions. Create robust data synthesis and processing mechanisms to support Amazons selling partner ecosystem. Implement advanced risk reduction and financial reporting technologies. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of engineering team management experience. 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams. 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling). 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multitier web services. Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations. Experience partnering with product or program management teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy. Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective, productoriented software engineers. As a total compensation company, Amazons package may include additional elements such as signon payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
