Responsibilities Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of production workers who operate processing machines and who fabricate, assemble, finish or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units Prepare production and other reports Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Set up machines and equipment Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Supervision 3-4 people 5-10 people Plastics processing machine operators Experience and specialization Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Skills & qualifications Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience MS Windows (computer and technology knowledge) Security and safety: Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail; combination of sitting, standing, walking Personal suitability: Organized, Team player, Efficient interpersonal skills, Reliability, Values and ethics Work site details Location: Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2M7 Work location: On site Work setting: Plastic products manufacturers Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 2 years to less than 3 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location.
