Job Description

As Nour Private Wealth continues to grow, we are seeking a Director of Operations to lead and oversee the operational infrastructure of our wealth management platform, supporting advisors, clients, and the firms continued expansion. Nour Private Wealth (NPW) is an independent wealth management firm serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients through personalized investment management and long-term wealth planning. The Director of Operations will play a key leadership role in ensuring efficient operations, strong advisor support, and seamless coordination between advisors, custodians, and operational partners. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee all day-to-day operational and back-office functions of the firm Lead and manage the operations team, ensuring high performance and strong service standards Maintain and improve internal operational systems and trading platforms Develop and implement operational policies and process improvements to support firm growth Provide operational support to portfolio managers and advisors Ensure efficient workflows that allow advisors to focus on client relationships and investment management Resolve complex advisor and client operational issues in a timely and professional manner Custodian & Platform Management Serve as the primary liaison between advisors and custodians Manage relationships with custodians, clearing firms, and external service providers Oversee account administration, trading support, and operational processes Client Onboarding & Cross-Border Operations Oversee client account opening and onboarding across jurisdictions, including Canada and the United States Support account structures and operational needs for clients with international investment activities Regulatory & Risk Oversight Ensure compliance with CIRO and other regulatory requirements Maintain strong operational controls and internal procedures Support regulatory reviews, audits, and operational risk management Qualifications Over 10 years of experience in wealth management or financial services operations In-depth knowledge of custodial platforms, trading systems, and advisor-facing platforms Experience managing cross-border account structures between Canada and the U.S. Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities Strong understanding of operational and regulatory frameworks in wealth management Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Completion of the Partners, Directors & Officers (PDO) Course Full fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset Advanced skills in scheduling, documentation, and workflow organization Highly analytical with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments Why Join Nour Private Wealth Join a growing independent wealth management firm with global reach Work closely with senior leadership and advisors in a collaborative environment Play a key role in scaling the operational platform of a boutique firm Opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the firm Compensation Salary based on experience and competitive with market standards.
