Cranbrook, BC Cranbrook Water Conditioning Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our office. Our company proudly serves the East Kootenay region and represents several trusted brands including Culligan, Beachcomber Hot Tubs, and Flaman Fitness. We are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to our customers throughout the region. Position Overview The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, and supporting the companys accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial records. Key Responsibilities Send monthly statements and invoices as required Monitor customer accounts to ensure balances remain accurate and current Follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections in a professional manner Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts Process daily cash batches and prepare bank deposits Assist with month-end accounts receivable reporting The successful candidate will generally work during regular office hours Monday to Friday. Flexibility in scheduling is available (for example, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:00 PM). The employee is typically required to be available from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM on the last day of each month to process month-end reporting and billing. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting role Strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records An accounting certificate or diploma is preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits Starting wage from $25.00 per hour Health and dental benefits available after 90 days Vacation pay in accordance with BC provincial requirements.
