About the Role: The Warehouse Lead (reporting to the warehouse manager) helps oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and safe work practices. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse craft, supports material control and logistics activities, and ensures materials are delivered to field teams on time to meet project schedules. Essential FunctionsOversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, organized storage and timely delivery of materials to field sitesManage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, full audits, discrepancy resolution, and system record maintenanceProvide leadership, coaching, training, scheduling support, and timecard approval for warehouse staff and forepersonsCoordinates logistics by forecasting material needs and managing communication with suppliers and carriersPrepares materials, equipment, and tools for mobilization and demobilization activitiesEnsures safety and regulatory compliance through equipment oversight, policy enforcement, hazard assessments, and documentationBrings strong warehouse/logistics experience and inventory system proficiencyRegular and predictable attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standardsOther duties as assigned About You: QualificationsExperience in construction, industrial, rail, or infrastructure environmentsMinimum 3 years in a lead warehouse role or supervisory role - requiredMinimum 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experienceValid Driver's licensePreferred EducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred; combination of related education, training and experience considered in lieu of degreeKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent organizational and communication skillsStrong understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse best practicesExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate unplanned eventsStrong organization and time management, with high level attention to detailAbility to establish and maintain trusting relationships with colleagues and vendorsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as inventory control systemsKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures relating to material handling and storageAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines What We Offer: Compensation & BenefitsSalary Commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
