Responsibilities Whats the role? Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO) is a core member of the executive leadership team, accountable for enabling the organizations strategy through modern, secure, and scalable technology and payments capabilities. The CIDO provides strategic leadership over the enterprise technology ecosystem, including enterprise architecture, core banking platforms, digital and mobile applications, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and data enablement. This role ensures technology investments translate into improved member experience, organizational efficiency, and longterm resilience. Your duties will include: Core Duties and Responsibilities (Highlights) Set enterprise technology and payments strategy aligned to organizational priorities and long-term direction. Provide insight-driven recommendations to enable executive and board decision-making, informed by performance, trends, and regulatory change. Lead divisional planning, investment prioritization, and governance to ensure disciplined execution and value realization. Oversee the enterprise technology ecosystem, including core banking, digital channels, enterprise applications, integration architecture, and cloud services. Drive digital enablement and modernization (automation, workflow, scalable platforms) to improve member and employee experience. Establish enterprise data and analytics strategy, including data governance, quality, security, and insight-driven decision-making. Own the enterprise payments strategy and roadmap, including modernization and readiness for RTR, ISO 20022, and emerging payment models. Ensure payments and technology platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective, with clear accountability for performance and availability. Lead privacy, compliance, and technology/data/payments risk governance, including cybersecurity, resilience, regulatory readiness, and fraud controls. Build and lead high-performing Technology and Payments teams; partner with executive peers and represent the organization externally as a technology and payments leader. Qualifications What are we looking for? Successful completion of a bachelors degree or diploma in a related discipline (e.g., Commerce and Business Administration) requiring a minimum of 4 years of full-time study or equivalent. A minimum of seven (7) years IT leadership experience including deep expertise in enterprise systems, cybersecurity and digital transformation. Minimum seven (7) years of senior financial management, risk, or audit experience in a financial institution. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in the financial services industry or relevant field, including at least ten (10) years in a senior leadership or executive role. Advanced understanding of credit union operations, principles and values. Proven ability to lead complex business environments, develop high-performing teams, and drive organizational strategy.
