What You'll Do Build and ship features alongside a small, focused team Work across the full stack: Vue.js SPAs, Laravel/PHP APIs, queue workers, and database design Contribute to technical planning and architecture decisions Stay current with modern development practices and tools Help maintain and evolve existing projects as we grow Tech Stack Frontend Vue.js (TypeScript) Single-page applications Modern CSS/responsive design Backend Laravel (PHP) - modern PHP experience is essential Golang (where appropriate) Queue workers (Laravel Horizon) PostgreSQL with Laravel migrations Testing & DevOps Automated testing (PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress) Docker, Docker Compose Kubernetes, Terraform GitLab CI/CD pipelines What We're Looking For Strong modern PHP experience (Laravel preferred) Comfortable with Vue.js and TypeScript Experience building and shipping production applications Able to work independently and take ownership of features Excited about greenfield projects and iterating quickly based on user feedback Based in or willing to commute to Cloverdale, Surrey, BC The Joel Test (Our Score: 8/12) Source control (Git, GitLab) One-step builds Daily builds (GitLab CI/CD) Bug database (Jira, GitLab) Fix bugs before writing new code Up-to-date schedule (managed per-project) Comprehensive specs (managed per-project) Quiet working conditions Best tools money can buy Dedicated testing team (developers own quality) Code during interviews Hallway usability testing Why Join Us?
