This role is handson and collaborativeyoull design, film, edit, and appear in ads, while working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Manager to research audiences, test creative angles, and iterate based on performance.You dont need to be a media buyer, but you should be curious about data, trends, and what actually converts in e-commerce.What Youll DoCreative & ProductionCreate shortform video ads for use across platforms including:Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Instacart, YouTube ShortsFilm, edit, and produce UGCstyle, native, and talkinghead contentEdit videos primarily in CapCut (fast iterations and versioning)Design static and light motion ad assets using Figma, Adobe, or similarComfortably appear on camera when needed (UGCstyle, demos, hooks)Write hooks, captions, and basic scripts for adsLeverage AIpowered tools to efficiently generate, iterate, and optimize creative assetsIncorporate AI tools into the creative workflow to scale ad asset production and accelerate testingOther ecommerce relating design tasks as neededStrategy, Research & PerformancePartner closely with the Sr Paid Media Manager to align creative with campaign goalsResearch audiences, cultural trends, competitors, and emerging creative formats to support our broader ecommerce goalsDevelop and test creative angles, hooks, and messaging frameworksReview ad performance regularly (CTR, thumbstop rate, CPA, ROAS)Use performance insights to iterate and improve creative over timeUGC & Creator ManagementHelp source and manage UGC creators and creative pipelines, acquiring content within budget and on tight timelinesBrief creators on concepts, hooks, and brand guidelinesSupport creator whitelisting and usage for paid campaignsReview creator content and suggest edits or improvements for performanceWhat Youll OwnDaytoday creation and iteration of paid ad creativesCreative testing and learnings in partnership with Paid Media ManagerUGC creator briefs, feedback, and creative directionA growing library of highperforming ad formats and insightsWhat Were Looking For4+ years experience in ad content creation, creative marketing, or social mediaSome graphic design skills with a solid eye for branding and layoutComfortable filming yourself and others using a phone or simple setupThorough understanding of performance marketing and creative testingOrganized, collaborative, and eager to learn through iterationExposure to paid social or working with a media buyerExperience managing or briefing UGC creatorsMotion graphics or light animation skillsExperience with or an interest in learning AI toolsWhat We OfferSalary (CAD $55,000$75,000 base, depending on experience)Annual performance based bonus15 days of vacation + 2 personal days + 2 volunteer daysComprehensive extended health & wellness benefitsRRSP matching and childcare benefit after one yearParticipation in Employee Stock Option PlanRemotefirst environment with flexible hours #J-18808-Ljbffr
