Overview Trans Mountain Corporation is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Pipeline Maintenance (PLM) Project Coordinator. In this position, you will play a key role in contributing to the planning, execution, and support of pipeline construction and maintenance activities through effective resource coordination, schedule monitoring, and adherence to safety and technical standards. The successful candidate will provide technical, operational, compliance, and project coordination across all phases of construction, maintenance, and integrity work. This position offers the opportunity to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and standards. It supports field execution by applying advanced technical knowledge, validating regulatory compliance, and coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards. Department: Pipeline Integrity Maintenance Reports to: Manager, Pipeline Maintenance Worker Type: Employee Schedule Type: Full-time Work Setting: In office Key Responsibilities Coordinating, developing, and maintaining project and maintenance schedules across multiple PLM regions and programs while ensuring alignment with field teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensuring operational readiness by confirming that project packages, materials, safety plans, permits, and personnel are complete and prepared prior to execution. Overseeing contractor performance, onboarding, communication, and readiness to ensure alignment with scope, safety expectations, scheduling requirements, and regulatory obligations. Maintaining clear tracking of commitments, action items, KPIs, Indigenous commitments, and schedule impacts to ensure timely follow through and informed decision making. Monitoring compliance with internal policies and federal/provincial regulations, ensuring all required permits, documentation, and approvals remain current and accurate. Identifying schedule risks, operational impacts, and execution gaps; escalating issues promptly and supporting mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum. Ensuring project documentation including engineering packages, permits, safety requirements, procurement milestones, and closeout documents is accurate, verified, and completed by accountable owners. Driving continuous improvement across project execution processes, supporting staff, and promoting best practices to enhance operational efficiency and consistency. Qualifications and Professional Experience High school diploma required. At least 6 years of progressive experience. Pipeline maintenance or construction background with strong capability to support the integrity dig program through comprehensive project management, including planning, execution, and tracking activities to successful completion. ICS training and emergency response experience are preferred. Proficiency in Project Management Software is preferred. Experience using Microsoft 365 suite of products and digital workflows is preferred. Certifications in Project Management Certification (PMP designation), API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector, Mechanical or Welding, and WHMIS, First Aid, and other safety certifications are an asset. A track record of delivering high-quality work, managing competing priorities, and supporting key business processes or operational functions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization. Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally. Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
