Job Description

Overview LEX3 is seeking a self-motivated and practically minded Junior Bridge Engineer to work with our Bridge Engineering Team in delivering a variety of bridge projects. You can expect to enjoy a mix of autonomous work and on-the-job training and support through a pairing with experienced staff members. This opportunity will provide invaluable work experience immersed in a wide array of bridge-related projects including inspection, assessment, and design of structures ranging from bridge-size culverts to major bridges, as well as various other assignments. You will have the opportunity to be involved in bridge projects from project pursuit through to construction completion, and take pride in your contributions. In this role, you can expect to be involved in some or all of the following tasks: Design and assessment of bridges and other structures Hydraulics and Hydrology Analysis Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences from an accredited University; 0 to 4 yrs of relevant experience in bridge or building structures project work. New grads are welcome to apply, although some experience in a previous position, co-op term, or summer employment will be considered an asset. Time Commitment / Term This is a full time, permanent position (40 hours per week). Location The position is required in our Red Deer office. Our flexible work environment allows employees to work from home up to two days per week if preferred.
