Highlights of What Youll Do Reporting to the Group Controller, youll help keep the financial engine running smoothly, managing AP and AR processes, supporting internal controls, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate and efficient day-to-day accounting operations. A typical day will involve: Process vendor invoices across multiple entities and currencies Ensure proper coding, approvals, and adherence to internal controls Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized and audit-ready AP documentation Monitor Accounts Payable inbox and respond to inquiries Accounts Receivable & Billing Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contracts, purchase orders, and billing schedules across multiple entities and currencies Maintain billing records and customer accounts, including account setup and billing terms Monitor AR aging and proactively manage collections through professional client communication and follow-up Apply incoming payments, assist with bank reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies or irregularities as needed Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy and timely resolution of client inquiries or disputes Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation while adhering to established financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Monitor Accounts Receivable inbox and respond to inquiries Financial Controls & Process Improvement Adhere to established accounting policies and approval workflows Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency Support documentation of procedures and internal controls Ensure compliance with company policies and local entity requirements Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, sales, and regional teams to resolve finance-related inquiries Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team What Youll Bring Along Must-Haves: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations Experience with AR, AP, and administrative support Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation) Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability Proactive and process-oriented Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, especially with clients (both verbally and in writing) High degree of integrity and accountability Understanding of internal controls and financial documentation standards Willingness to elevate issues and ask questions when needed; eager to learn Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision of daily tasks Professional and collaborative, with a customer-service mindset Nice-to-Haves: Advanced education in a business discipline or accounting is an asset Experience in collections, basic reconciliations, and customer account setup is an asset Experience with Sage Intacct is an asset Experience at a Marketing agency and/or startup is an asset Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, and/or Korean is an asset Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency environments is preferred What Well Give You $55,000-$65,000 per year Autonomous and flexible hybrid work environment Extended health, dental, and life insurance benefits This role offers exposure to multinational finance operations, entity consolidations, and scalable accounting infrastructure The Accounting Associate will gain increasing responsibility over time High potential for advancement in a fast-growing company We are always looking for top talent.
