McDougall Auctioneers is seeking a dedicated, versatile team member for a Manitoba Territory Sales Rep. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills. Must be willing to travel and be familiar with agriculture, construction, industrial, and heavy equipment. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role will primarily entail being on the road, based out of our Winnipeg location. The incumbent should anticipate traveling approximately 60% of the time. Role Description Visiting existing and potential customers to discuss equipment auction sales. Input data into our internal database. Work with our advertising department to maximize sale exposure. Communicate with customers, provide customer service, supply quotes and build a strong relationship between the customer and the Company. Researching customer needs and identifying how our solutions can support them. Participate in trade shows as required/requested. Executing auction contracts Executing equipment listings and taking sale Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of sales experience and entrepreneurial mind set would be a definite asset. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. A high level of motivation and a goal-oriented mindset. Capacity to work autonomously. A clean driving record and valid drivers license. Flexibility to work in varied environments, both indoors and outdoors.
