Job Description At Chandos, we hire construction Project Managers and Project Directors who set the standard technically strong, financially disciplined, and exceptional at leading people and projects. While we dont have an open PM role today, we maintain a small, selective pipeline of individuals who genuinely align with our work, our values, and our approach to collaborative construction. Key Responsibilities Own fulllifecycle delivery of midtolarge commercial projects (roughly $30M+ in scope) Oversee cradletograve project delivery, including: Design review and constructability input, estimating, budgeting (ClassD, ClassB, Tender) and cost control, tendering, procurement, and contract administration, construction sequencing, site logistics, and methodology development, closeout, handoff, and client transition Manage both open CM (CCDC5A/5B) and converted CM (CCDC2) delivery models: Shift projects from open to fixedsum contracts through risk identification and tender recap, mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities throughout construction Craft compelling proposals and methodologies that win work and clearly articulate whats in it for the client Implement estimating input, subtrade buyouts, contracts, changeorder controls and robust forecasts Mentor project managers, coordinators, superintendents and support staff develop tomorrows leaders today Foster client, consultant and subcontractor relationships that drive repeat business and strong referrals Embed continuous improvement: streamline processes, reinforce safety best practices, capture lessons learned Qualifications 8+ years as a construction Senior Project Manager or Project Director delivering commercial, institutional, school, or large TI projects Full accountability for projects from preconstruction through closeout, including groundup delivery 8+ years with a general contractor on mid to largescale commercial projects (not developerside or selfperforming models)Proven ability to lead and mentor Junior PMs and Project Coordinator teams Demonstrated success independently managing fullscope projects (not segmented PM roles) Track record delivering $5M$150M projects within reputable GC environments Strong expertise in construction management, delivery models, and contract structures Advanced skills in budgeting (ClassD to Tender), cost control, and tendering Strong capability in risk management, opportunity identification, and tender recap preparation High proficiency in forecasting, financial reporting, and project performance analysis Skilled in MSProject, site logistics planning, scheduling, and construction sequencing Valid drivers license and ability to balance office and site work Additional Information Chandos is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture and this includes our recruitment and hiring process.
