We help practice owners maximize value and ensure smooth transitions through empathetic, data-driven support. Role Overview We are seeking a CPA to join our team as a Senior Accountant or Manager supporting both valuation engagements and brokerage transactions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys analytical work, and wants a flexible schedule in a friendly, boutique environment. Valuation experience ispreferred but not required we are happy to provide training for the right candidate with strong analytical and financial skills. This role is ideal for a CPA who is passionate about their work while balancing family and professional commitments. Our work hours are structured around daycare and school schedules, typically from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This position requires in-person attendance at our office in North Vancouver, Edgemont Village. Key Responsibilities Assist with business valuations for veterinary and other healthcare practices. Build and maintain financial models (DCF, cap of earnings, comparable metrics). Analyze financial statements, normalize earnings, forecast performance, and assess risk. Draft valuation reports under supervision and contribute to final deliverables. Transaction / Brokerage Support Support the sale and acquisition of healthcare practices. Assist with due diligence, financial review, data room organization, and deal documentation. Help prepare confidential information memoranda and coordinate with buyers and sellers. Participate in negotiations and communication as needed. Client & Relationship Management Communicate with practice owners to gather information and explain processes. Maintain relationships with consolidators, lenders, and potential buyers. Support the founders in business development and client onboarding. Internal Leadership & Collaboration Help maintain internal templates, tools, and standard processes. Contribute to strategic initiatives and occasional content creation. Qualifications Valuation experience is an asset but NOT required training will be provided. 57+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields. Strong financial analysis and Excel modeling capabilities. Excellent written communication and report-writing skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities within a flexible schedule. Interest in M&A, valuations, or the healthcare/veterinary industry is a plus. Personal Attributes Professional, reliable, highly detail-oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
