Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, the Food & Beverage Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless operation of our restaurant and banquet operations by providing efficient service, maintaining high standards, and fostering a high-performing team. Building and maintaining strong professional relationships within the front-of-house and back-of-house teams will be crucial to your success. Responsibilities - Cultivate a culture of authentic hospitality to support business objectives and growth. - Oversee logistics, including setup, staffing, and equipment, ensuring seamless event execution. - Manage financial aspects such as inventory controls, period-end assistance, billing reconciliation, and cash deposits. - Prepare financial reports, analyze performance, and recommend strategies for departmental growth. - Handle recruitment, employee schedule, training, integration, performance feedback, and employee relations. - Address service-related issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. - Provide ongoing support to the Food & Beverage Supervisor and service team, actively participating in service. - Lead by example, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. - Offer feedback and guidance to ensure team members have growth and development opportunities. - Support the Food & Beverage Director in achieving departmental key performance objectives for the restaurant and banquet operations. - Coordinate and plan banquet events, ensuring client expectations are met, and actively participate in BEO meetings and event report generation with the Sales Department. - Build and motivate a high-performing team with strong quality and sales standards. - Maintain an impeccable online reputation across platforms like TripAdvisor, Google, and local review sites. Qualifications - At least 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a premium, fast-paced, high-energy environment. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Extensive knowledge in wines and beverages. - Smart Serve Certification is required. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. - Ability to handle stressful situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
