Job Title: Licensed Automotive Service Technician Location: Elmsdale / Enfield, Nova Scotia Shift/Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays as required) Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications Job Overview: Advantage Personnel is currently hiring a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join a modern, wellequipped shop with a steady workflow and supportive team culture. This is a handson role focused on inspections, maintenance, and light to intermediate repairs-no heavy engine rebuilds and no highpressure upselling. You'll work directly alongside an experienced Red Seal Technician in an environment that values quality work, safety, and professional growth. This position welcomes: - Licensed Automotive Service Technicians - Apprentices with at least 2nd Block completed - Certified Service Station Technicians with a valid MVI license Responsibilities: - Complete vehicle inspections including presale, postsale, frame checks, and road tests - Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid services, tire work, and minor repairs - Assist with brakes, suspension, exhaust, alignments, and A/C servicing - Keep the shop clean, organized, and safetyfocused - Optional customerfacing tasks including parts sourcing, quotes, and work orders Requirements: - 2nd Block Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship completed or valid MVI certification - 1-3 years of handson mechanical, electrical, or diagnostic experience - Valid driver's license with a clean abstract - Comfortable using digital diagnostic tools and software - Reliable, safetyminded, and a strong team player If you're looking for steady hours, quality work, and room to grow-we want to hear from you.
