Overview This role requires deep expertise in SAM Pro and HAM implementation and a strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices, with an emphasis on software governance and CMDB alignment. Responsibilities - Lead the implementation of ServiceNow SAM Pro, including design, configuration, discovery integration, reconciliation, and license lifecycle workflows. - Collaborate with procurement, licensing, IT operations, and security stakeholders to define requirements and ensure SAM Pro alignment with business needs. - Configure SAM Pro capabilities for compliance reporting, optimization insights, and automated remediation. - Oversee integrations with key data sources (e.g., Intune, CatalystCenter, LogicMonitor) along with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and ensure overall solution quality through testing and validation. - Develop documentation and training materials to support SAM Pro adoption and operational readiness. - Evaluate the current HAM implementation and recommend process improvements to support CMDB accuracy and asset governance. - Refine HAM workflows, data practices, and lifecycle processes to align with ITAM and CMDB best practices. - Identify opportunities to streamline and automate ITAM processes across SAM Pro and HAM. - Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to stakeholders involved in IT asset management. Qualifications - 2-year post-secondary diploma or a 4-year post-secondary degree in IT or Computing Science related field. - 10 years experience working on project teams and/or large-scale IT transformation projects. - Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management preferred. - Proven experience implementing ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of licensing models, compliance considerations, and enterprise software lifecycle management. - Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or other ITAM disciplines. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Fluency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams. - High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
